Daniel Dubois Versus Joe Joyce Who Wins?
I have got to be very honest I am really looking forward to this fight, big respect to both of the fighters for taking this fight. Its very early on in Daniel Dubois career and he definitely did not have to take such a hard fight against Joe Joyce. Joyce again also could definitely of gone in another direction in a time that has been ruined by heavyweights not wanting to fight each other in my opinion.
We have missed Wilder against Joshua and we really do not want miss Joshua against Fury either so Joyce and Dubois really deserve a large amount of credit.
To me these fighters are very evenly matched in most aspects although Joe is twelve years older and has obviously got so much more experience. Joyce has got a two inch reach advantage which I do not think will affect the fight in anyway. They both weigh exactly the same seventeen stone one pound, in all honestly I even think their personality is very similar they both have an amazing amount of self belief and are both known to be very quite.
We all know how tough Joyce is and the same has never been seen in Dubois so that is definitely an unanswered question but I have the feeling he will come through this test with flying colours and will end up winning the fight. Even if he does not win this fight I have the feeling Daniel will be the new face of the heavyweight division even giving Fury and Joshua a real run for their money especially if he gets the timing of those fights right, when both of those fighters are coming to the end of their career and he is in his prime.
So I am sticking my neck on the line again and I am going to go with Dubois but Joyce is not going to go down without a fight. Joyce is really at a stage in his career where he cannot lose as he started his professional career so late, so do not be surprised to see a close fight. What really amazed me about about Dubois against Gorman was the speed of Dubois, I think this could be a factor in the fight we know Joyce is extremely tough but maybe Dubois speed could outbox Joyce and possibly look for a big knockout. We all know how tough Joyce is but I think Dubois hits that hard he could get the massive knockout, either way I think we are all in for a great night well done to Frank Warren for putting such a great fight on, and risking his youngest up and coming star a loss at this stage of his career.
